It starts with a feeling.
A calm morning. A familiar recipe. The woods after rain. Scent ideas often begin with a place, a memory, or a mood I want to capture. I use those ideas to shape both the fragrance story and its visual identity.
AN ACTUAL OAK n THREAD CANDLEI love that making candles gives me a way to blend creativity and everyday comfort. A fragrance can bring back a memory, set a mood, or make a room feel like home.
My goal is to make each candle feel special, from the fragrance and materials to the way the jar is labeled and presented. I'm building Oak n Thread carefully, taking the time to learn, improve, and refine before opening orders.
MORE ABOUT MY STORYA look at the creative approach behind the collection. Product imagery illustrates our candle designs rather than documenting each individual manufacturing stage.

From the notes in the scent to the illustration on the label, every design decision should feel connected. That's why each Oak n Thread fragrance has its own little world of colors, imagery, and words.

I make my soy candles by hand, paying attention to the materials and the small details that matter. As the collection develops, I'm focused on refining each candle's appearance and burn performance — not rushing a product out before I'm comfortable with it.

The final presentation is part of the experience. Labels, photography, and the feeling of opening something handmade all matter to me. I want the finished piece to bring a little warmth into someone's day.
