One of the things I enjoy most about being creative is how different every project can feel. A candle begins with fragrance and material. A sewing project starts with fabric and the idea of something useful. Watercolor is a chance to work with color and see what happens.

Even though those projects use different tools, the satisfying part is the same: taking something from an idea to an object you can actually hold, share, or bring into your home.

Small details make it personal

I find myself drawn to natural textures, warm colors, and pieces that aren't trying too hard. I like the way an amber candle jar glows when it's lit, the way fabric feels in your hands, and the way watercolor can make even a simple shape feel alive.

Oak n Thread gives me a place to explore those interests and take them seriously. I want to keep developing the quality of what I make without losing the curiosity that made me start in the first place.

That's the heart of this brand: not doing everything at once, but creating things that mean something to me — and hopefully, to the people who take them home.

Made by hand, rooted in heart.
